Guess who's Bach

Back from vacation I'll try to serve you at least one audio book each day. Since I met a wonderful French girl, this post is dedicated to French stories. There are some interesting things to find on Spotify.

There are some very interesting albums about the history of the great composers and further down you'll find some classical stories in French. To finish I found some great albums from Louis de Funès @APP.

Not really audiobooks, but so beautiful it's a perfect add-on when reading The Lord of the Rings.

The Tolkien Ensemble (founded in 1995) is a Danish ensemble which aims to create "the world's first complete musical interpretation of the poems and songs from The Lord of the Rings". They published four CDs from 1997 to 2005, in which all the poems and songs of The Lord of the Rings are set to music. The project was approved by both the Tolkien family and HarperCollins Publishers. Queen Margrethe II of Denmark gave permission to use her illustrations in the CD layout.

Sir Patrick Stewart, OBE (born 13 July 1940) is an English film, television and stage actor, who has had a distinguished career on stage and screen. He is most widely known for his roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation and its successor films, and as Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men film series. A personal favorite, I had to make him his own page.

There are a lot of public licence classics available on Spotify, these first few I collected are all read by Hayward Morse. I am certain this list will become the biggest off all as I will add more stories. I'll try to sort these by first release date.

Again something completely different this can best be described as an audio musical. Music with the emphasis on story. Try it, you won't be disappointed if you like either. With the wonderful voice of Christopher Lee. I also added this album to my Melodrama - Stories playlist.
